All About Developmental Disabilities Boosts Board of Directors with Nancy Rizor
All About Developmental Disabilities (AADD) – Atlanta’s preeminent nonprofit provider of support services for families living with developmental disabilities – is entering its new fiscal year with an updated Board of Directors. Among those the agency has appointed is Buckhead community volunteer Nancy Rizor.
“We are excited to add our new board members,” said Lisa R. Blanco, AADD Board President. “They bring experience, passion and a perspective we need as we implement our new strategic plan.”
About Nancy Rizor
A Virginia native, Nancy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia. After serving fifteen years as an emergency room nurse, she became a full-time mother and an active community volunteer. She serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Virginia School of Nursing and Alzheimer’s Society of Atlanta. As a member of the Cathedral of St. Philip of Atlanta she performs many leadership roles with the Church, including: Chairman of the Cathedral Antiques Show; Executive Committee Member, Vestry; Treasurer; Chairman of the Finance Committee; President of Episcopal Church Women; and Co-Chair of the Annual Stewardship Fund.
Other new board members appointed include developmental disability service leader Janet P. Deal and accounting professional Charles T. Lundquist.
