Anisa International Celebrates Partnerships that Build Foundations

Atlanta-based beauty company gives back to its community

ATLANTA (September 10, 2012) -- Anisa International, the beauty industry’s leading global cosmetic brush, bag and accessory design and manufacturing company, celebrates partnerships with Atlanta-based non-profits, Families First and LifeLine Animal Project, as part of the corporation’s 20-year anniversary. The celebratory event, Partnerships that Build Foundations, was held at the Buckhead Club on Thursday, Sept. 7 and attendees included employees, families and friends of Anisa International, Families First and LifeLine.

“We want to instill a culture of giving back within our company and it is important that our employees understand the kind of business they work for and the good that these organizations do for our community,” said Anisa Telwar, founder and president of Anisa International. “Our company’s core values of integrity, innovation and quality not only extend to our client relationships, but also to our employees and community.”

The event included presentations from Telwar, Rebecca Guinn, founder of LifeLine, and Kim Anderson, CEO of Families First. Anisa has worked with these organizations for almost 10 years to strengthen the Atlanta community. In addition to monetary donations and corporate volunteer events, Anisa employees are allotted four hours of company time per month to volunteer at any charitable organization.

LifeLine Animal Project has the singular mission to stop the euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats in Atlanta area animal shelters. Each year, almost 500 dogs and cats go through their special care facilities. LifeLine’s website is home to the largest online pet adoption network in Atlanta. More than 50 shelters and rescue groups throughout the area post adoptable animals to the fully searchable database, which features over 1500 animals available for adoption each day. Additionally, LifeLine operates Catlanta, the only organized feral and stray cat assistance program in the area, which has provided more than 13,000 below-cost sterilizations and vaccinations for Atlanta’s feral and stray cat population.
