Attorney Morris Little Is Atlanta Tribune - The Magazine's Featured Attorney in June 2011 Edition

Attorney Morris O. Little, Jr., a Buckhead resident who is a high-level attorney in the law department at the international headquarters of Delta Air Lines, Inc., is featured in the Attorney’s Corner column of Atlanta Tribune – The Magazine’s June 2011 edition.  The feature of Attorney Little, who is profiled and interviewed in Q&A format by Atlanta Tribune – The Magazine’s attorney-columist Brian D. Poe, Esq., covers his legal career which focuses on commercial and regulatory matters at the world’s largest airlines.

Attorney Little’s practice includes the purchase and sale of commercial aircraft, the outsourcing of various disciplines within the airline, and other commercial matters.  He also advises senior and executive management on legal matters affecting the airline.  He served as chief commercial counsel to Delta’s Technical Operations Division, a division of Delta which provides technical aircraft services to Delta and other aircraft operators.  While he was this division’s chief commercial lawyer, the division grew revenues from roughly seventy-two million dollars to over five hundred million dollars, annually over ten years.

Prior to joining Delta’s Law Department, Attorney Little worked in Delta’s Technical Operations division, where his last position was managing aircraft maintenance at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. He also served one year as the Technical Operations division’s representative to Delta’s board of directors.

A native of Jamaica, West Indies, Mr. Little grew up in Brooklyn, New York.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York City.  He is a member of the New York, Georgia, American and Gate City bar associations.  Mr. Little is also a proud member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, where he was recently elected to the Board of Directors.

Formerly a member of Delta's law department himself, Attorney Brian Poe, who is currently a practicing attorney in private practice and Founder-Managing Partner of the national legal recruiting firm Esquire Connect LLC, called his interview of Attorney Little one of his "most fascinating" to date.  “Here’s an attorney who has traveled all over the globe to facilitate Delta’s purchases of everything from airport services to its fleet of jets.  He’s truly an international deals lawyer – and based right here in Atlanta.”
