Pace Academy Middle School Presents "The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza"

Pace Academy, recognized by Atlanta Magazine as one of the city’s Best Schools for the Arts, will present the play The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza Oct. 18 and 19 in the school’s Fine Arts Center.

In the comedy, two battling narrators attempt to cover the entirety of Greek mythology—from Pandora’s Box and Cronos and the Titans to Jason and the Argonauts and The Iliad—using audience participation and general theatrical insanity. This is Greek mythology as you’ve never seen it before!

Pace Academy Middle School Drama Director Joey Villemez directs the production, which features a talented cast of 35 Middle School students, led by eighth-grader Annie Nottingham and seventh-grader Cole McCorkle as the narrators.

Performances will take place Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. The performances are free and open to the general public. Pace Academy is located at 966 West Paces Ferry Road, NW, Atlanta 30327.
