$300K of Wire Stolen from 'Anchorman 2' Set
The burglary is one of several that have occurred in the Defoors Ferry Road area in recent weeks.
Thieves stole about $300,000 in wire from the set of the sequel of the now-classic Anchorman comedy, starring Will Ferrell, in December.
They broke into a warehouse on Defoors Hills Road being rented to Paramount Worldwide Productions, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
That same week, an apartment on the 2700 block of Defoors Ferry Road was broken into and a laptop was stolen. On Monday, a toolbox and power saw were discovered missing from another nearby warehouse, the AJC reports.
Along with wires, the burglars stole four computers after using a rear garage door to break into the warehouse being used for "Anchorman: The Legend Continues," which is scheduled to be released in December.
