A Song for Tough Mudders

Buckhead resident and motivational trainer Doug Grady to perform at event

Motivational trainer Doug Grady says the Tough Mudder event represented a turning point for him.

On Saturday, the Buckhead resident and president of High Achievers will perform an original song after the event at the Aonia Pass Motocross Park in Washington, Ga., according to a news release. The unofficial "Tough Mudder Song" will relate how the challenge relates to life’s obstacles

High Achievers works to inspire personal and professional growth through mentors, coaches and training, the announcement said.

“I have a passion to encourage others to become a version of themselves that they actually want to be, but by no means am I above being inspired myself,” Grady said. “The Tough Mudder provided a mental and physical turning point for me, which I am forever grateful."

The Tough Mudder was established by Will Dean, a Harvard graduate and former counter-terrorism agent for the British government. The 10-12 mile challenge, done worldwide, has been a key component of Grady’s personal transformation over the last two years and provided inspiration for his upcoming book, "Ripple Effect."
