Artists to Discuss "Question Bridge: Black Males" Exhibit

March 24 event to consider issues surrounding Chastain Arts Center display

Artists involved in the"Question Bridge: Black Males" exhibit at the will have a roundtable discusion on the themes of the exhibit.

The discussion will be from 5 to 7 p.m. March 24 at the , according to a city of Atlanta announcment. Artists Hank Willis Thomas and Bayate’ Ross Smith, rapper Killer Mike and others from the Atlanta community will talk about themes of love, identity, community and family. Question Bridge, on display at the Chastain Arts Center through March 24, uses 1,500 video exchanges in which the contributors serve as subjects and interviewers. The exhibit simulates a stream-of-consciousness conversation between 150 black males weaving their ideas together to form a mass dialogue surrounding issues of contemporary existence, the announcement said.

The exhibit Includes on view are two-dimensional works by the three collaborators of the exhibition. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. through March 24.
