Buckhead Legislator Won't Run For Another Term
State Rep. Elly Dobbs has informed her General Assembly colleagues she is not seeking a third term.
State Rep. Elly Dobbs, whose 53rd house district includes portions of Buckhead, told her legislative colleages on Monday she won't seek another term in office.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Dobbs addressed her colleagues from the House well.
As a result of the most recent legislative redistricting mandated by the 2010 U.S. Census, Dobbs' was drawn into the same district as , who has already announced her intention to seek re-election.
