Fulton Elections Board Chairman Steps Down
Fulton Commission Chairman John Eaves said the departure of Roderick Edmonds presents a chance for a "fresh start" for a department that has its challenges.
Roderick Edmond, Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections, resigned Friday.
A press statement said he will leave as soon as a replacement is identified.
Chairman John H. Eaves said, “A change in leadership at this time presents an opportunity to make a fresh start as we continue to address challenges in our Registration & Elections department. We will immediately begin working to identify a replacement.”
The Fulton County Registration & Elections department has had issues in the past, losing its chief and being attacked for serious problems and delays in handling recent elections.
