The Lovett School varsity football team fell to Marist last Friday night.

Lovett had a 16-7 lead at halftime, but Marist came back to win 24-16.

It was the the first meeting ever in varsity football between the two private schools.

The Marist War Eagles are 2-1 and play at home against Therrell on Friday.

The Lovett Lions are 2-1 and next play at St. Pius on Friday.
