Morton's Steakhouse in Buckhead reportedly has closed, adding to the list of businesses now vacant in the upper Peachtree Road/Roxboro road area.

The luxury steakhouse at 3379 Peachtree Road was closed by its new owner, Landry's Inc., according to a report in the Denver Post. Other Morton's around the country also were shuttered.

Other closures in the area include Filene's Basement, 3535 Peachtree; BluePointe, 3455 Peachtree; and Borders in the Buckhead Triangle at the corner of Roxboro, 3637 Peachtree. Also at the Buckhead Triangle, the Circuit City space has remained vacant for several years.
