Get into the Halloween spirit with a pumpkin from the North Atlanta High Sports Booster Club.
The club is selling the just-right-for-carving beauties at the patch at Northside United Methodist Church, right beside the school. Your Jack O'Lantern purchase will benefit the booster club and the student ministries at the church.
The pumpkin patch is open daily through Oct. 31, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 to 7 p.m.
A group of 200 North Atlanta students, along with Sutton Middle School siblings and parents, outloaded 4,000 pumpkins last week, according to the school's weekly newsletter. Afterwards, the volunteers enjoyed a cookout. A second truck will be unloaded Wednesday, Oct. 19.
