Rep. Lindsey Announces Majority Deputy Whips
House Majority Whip Ed Lindsey has selected the members of 2013-14 House Majority Whip team.
House Majority Whip Edward Lindsey (R-Atlanta), who represents Buckhead's 54th district, announced today the members of the 2013-2014 House Majority Whip team.
Members of the majority whip team will play a critical role by monitoring legislation as it moves through both chambers of the General Assembly and by helping members of the majority caucus to better understand the details of bills and resolutions.
State Representative Stephen Allison (R-Blairsville) will help lead the 2013-2014 House Majority Whip team. Representatives Alex Atwood (R-Brunswick), Buzz Brockway (R-Lawrenceville), Valerie Clark (R-Lawrenceville), Robert Dickey (R-Musella), Bubber Epps (R-Dry Branch), Buddy Harden (R-Cordele), Dusty Hightower (R-Carrollton), Rick Jasperse (R-Jasper), B.J. Pak (R-Lilburn), Terry Rogers (R-Clarkesville), Darlene Taylor (D-Thomasville), and Sam Teasley (R-Marietta) will round out the Majority Whip roster.
“These Deputy Whips were carefully selected for their dedication, hard work, and honesty, which has allowed them to earn the respect and trust of their fellow caucus members,” said Lindsey. “The legislative understanding and personal integrity that enables these representatives to successfully serve their constituents will also make them valuable members of the House Majority Whip team.”
