Sally Kellerman to Perform Three Shows in Buckhead

Jerry Farber's Side Door will host the M.A.S.H. actress/singer for shows to benefit three separate non-profit organizations.

Iconic actress and singer Sally Kellerman will be making a series of special appearances in Buckhead the weekend of July 27-29 to benefit several local non-profits. 

Oscar nominated for her performance as Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houllihan in M*A*S*H, Kellerman also starred in Robert Altman’s Brewster McCloud and Pret-a-Porter (alongside Lauren Bacall, Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni and Julia Roberts), as well as The Last of the Red Hot Lovers (opposite Alan Arkin), Foxes and Back to School (opposite Rodney Dangerfield).  

Besides appearing in more than 90 films and TV shows, including episodes of Law and Order and Beverly Hills 90210, Kellerman has resumed her singing career in album recordings and cabaret shows.

She’ll be performing her cabaret show for the first time in Atlanta at Jerry Farber’s Side Door, 3652 Roswell Road in Buckhead, adjacent to the .  

Each show will help benefit a different non-profit in metro Atlanta, including   at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, Kids’ Chance of Georgia on Saturday, July 28 at 8 p.m. and Turning Point Women’s Healthcare on Sunday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m.

“I couldn’t be more excited that Sally has chosen to come to Atlanta and play at my club her first time here,” said Jerry Farber, owner of JerryFarber’s Side Door.  “This promises to a very unique weekend, between her intimate performances in Buckhead and screening of M*A*S*H in Midtown, so for anyone looking to get up close and personal with one of the classiest individuals in the entertainment business, this is an ideal opportunity.”

Also on Sunday, July 29, at 10:15 a.m., Kellerman will be on hand at Atlanta’s Landmark Midtown Art Theater for a special screening of Robert Altman’s M*A*S*H*.  There will be a post-screening Q&A with Emory University’s Dr. Eddy von Mueller, followed by a VIP brunch at Apres Diem adjacent to the theater.  A portion of proceeds from the screening and brunch will benefit Friends of Film in the Department of Film and Media Studies at Emory University.

Tickets for the concerts are $100 and can be obtained at www.xorbia.com  or by calling 770-738-3000.  Only 100 tickets are available per show.  

Tickets for the screening itself are $25, while tickets to the screening and VIP champagne brunch following the screening will cost $75. There are 350 tickets for the screening and 80 for brunch.  And tickets are also available for the events at www.xorbia.com.
