Police say the thief has quite a trained eye for what is "good silverware," and he leaves the other silverware behind.

Sgt. Greg Lyon of APD said the suspect has been "well-trained or well-educated" to know the difference between the expensive silverware and the less expensive, everyday silverware.

Additionally, the suspect or suspects appear to be professional thieves.

They are able to enter the home by using glass-cutters to remove panes of glass (all while the homeowners are home).

"He's someone who is very good at what he does. He's very meticulous. He's very quiet, very stealthy. You look at this person as opposed to say your average bungling burglar, and he's a professional," Lyon said to CBS.
