The family memorial service for Stacey English will be Friday night, according to the family's Facebook page and an Atlanta Journal-Constitution obituary.

The Buckhead woman's disappearance just after Christmas resulted in a massive Atlanta Police Department investigation. Her body was discovered Jan. 25 in southwest Atlanta, a month after she was reported missing from her Buckhead apartment.

The memorial service for English will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home, 1003 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd

English's funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, 182 Hunter St., in Norcross, the Facebook page said.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Hampton University Alumni Association's Stacey English scholarship fund are requested. English, a Hampton alumna, participated in recruiting students for the school, the Facebook page said.

The APD continues to investigate English's death.
