Vacant Spaces: Cafe Intermezzo

Cafe Intermezzo is leaving, so what should go in its old space?

Last month, Patch reported that Cafe Intermezzo is preparing to leave its Peachtree Road location and head to the Midtown Mile in November. So, without much time left to enjoy Cafe Intermezzo's variety of delicious savory and sweet treats (I'm partial to their crepes with Nutella) before it takes more of a drive to get to them, it's time to focus on the future.

The building is on Peachtree Road near Collier Road. Keep in mind that some of the nearby neighbors include Wendy's, Uncle Julio's Casa Grande, Ted's Montana Grill and office buildings where the workers might enjoy a nice place to walk to and grab a quick lunch.

What would you like to see move in to this vacant property? Tell us in the comments area below.

This has nothing to do with Cafe Intermezzo, but what I would like to see is to see the Garden Hills Theater resurrected, and have a nice neighborhood theater like we used to have in years past.

I would love to see Alons Bakery or something similar. I really don't understand why we don't have a decent coffee shop and breakfast/lunch place around here. So not happy with Chipoltes moving in to the Fig Jam space - not that it's not good but why do we need another thing like that?
