On Tuesday, Feb. 19, Pace Academy will host the Atlanta Gap Year Fair. A Gap Year is a period of time between completing high school and beginning college when a student steps outside the traditional classroom experience.
Gap Year programs give students a developmental advantage over their peers by providing them with an opportunity to expand their perspective and gain direction that give the college years meaning and focus. For many students, Gap Year programs provide them with time to develop independence and confidence as well as pursue various fields of interest.
The evening’s program will take place in Pace Academy’s Knights Hall, located on the fifth floor of the Middle School building. It will begin with a speaker at 6 p.m., and the fair will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Pace Academy is located at 966 W. Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta 30327. Parking is available in the campus's rear parking lot.

More About Pace Academy
Pace Academy seeks to develop the entire child, following the four pillars of academics, service, athletics and the arts. The school's drama department produces plays in a top flight, 600-seat theater, and with 11 arts studios, students learn to enhance their creativity. Pace was one of the first schools to require community service for graduation. The school's stadium is on Riverview Road close to the school campus. A historic building, the Gothic "Castle," built as a private residence in 1932, was Pace's first home and serves today as the administration building. A number of modern additions to "the Castle" give the school a blend of traditional and cutting edge style. Pace is not connected to any denomination but follows the Judeo-Christain tradition and strives for character development.
