Most Fridays...stop in for some conversation. Post 140 is currently recruiting Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans. The new Post officers are mostly Marine Combat Veterans of Iraq and/or Afghanistan. So if you are Army, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard, it is time for you to join!

More About American Legion Post 140
The historic American Legion Post first served World War I and Spanish American War veterans. Now its membership is growing among veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. This post no longer rents out its building for parties and other events. A Ladies Auxiliary is open to community women, no matter whether they served in the military. The building overlooks North Fulton Golf Course in Chastain Park.
