Trees Atlanta has hired a herd of sheep to eat kudzu this summer! Want to meet them? See what they're up to? Join us at “Breakfast with the Sheep” on Friday, June 8th!
This event, part of our summer-long Have Ewe Herd?? program, is an opportunity for Atlanta citizens to meet and interact with the sheep that are ridding various greenspaces of kudzu for us. Come one, come all. This will be a fun, local, free morning to pet sheep, enjoy free refreshments, and learn about how these sheep are helping humans and forests!
Join us at Chastain Park Conservancy, by the barn. 4001 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30342

More About Chastain Park
Chastain Park, at more than 260 acres, is Atlanta's largest park and serves as a regional park for a broad area beyond Buckhead. The property includes the Northside Youth Organization's fields, a tennis center, arts center, the North Fulton Golf Course, the Chastain Park Amphitheater and a horse park, as well as a PATH walking trail through natural areas and playgrounds. The nonprofit Chastain Park Conservancy, founded in 2003, maintains the park and plans for its development.
