DESCRIPTION:For kids in grades 9-12.&nbsp\; In  this class\, students wil
 l learn about different artists and art   movements throughout history. 
 Students will create projects based around   these artists and art movem
 ents\, such as Alexander Calder&rsquo\;s mobiles\,   Georges Seurat&rsqu
 o\;s pointillist paintings\, M.C. Esher&rsquo\;s tessellations\, and   m
 ore! Every two weeks students will create a new project to bring home   
 and will learn about the events in history that influenced these   artis
 ts.&nbsp\; These projects can be used to contribute to a well-rounded   
 portfolio for applications to summer and college programs.&nbsp\; In add
 ition\,   students will learn about post-high school art options.
