Janet Ackerman is a global marketing and business development professional by day and International fitness entertainer by night.  She brings a lifetime of passion, culture, and global professional experiences to every one of her fitness classes and events. Since 2002, and trained by the creator of Zumba Fitness®, Beto Perez, Janet became Atlanta's first Zumba instructor and field representative where she created ZumbaAtlanta.com with only highly skilled instructors to foster the development of Zumba Fitness® in Atlanta and to provide fun and effective Fitness Entertainment Events and classes.  Ackerman, Zumba Instructor Network (ZIN) #165, worked with Zumba management to provide field information and business tactics which are found in the Zumba brand and product solution today. Janet is a Zumba Master Trainer Candidate and International Presenter where she has performed in Chile, Mexico, India, China and Singapore.  She brings over 20 years of fitness qualifications in instructing, educating, and motivating clients to achieve healthier lifestyles and overall athletic performance.  She currently holds several national and international certifications including Zumba Fitness®, Piloxing, R.I.P.P.E.D, Body Training Systems, Flirty Girl, Silver Sneakers and Personal Training just to name a few. No stranger to athletic performance herself, Janet is a former triathlete. With a masters from Thunderbird, the worlds #1 Global School of Business, Janet brings over 20 years of international management experience with G5000 entities such as Coca Cola, USAID, Lucent Technologies and Lexis Nexis.  She has lived in 4 countries and has traveled to over 80 for work and pleasure.
