• The Buckhead Republican Women are holding their monthly September event on Tuesday at the Cross Creek Cafe, 1221 Cross Creek Pkwy NW (Bohler Rd) in Atlanta. 

• The Buckhead Young Republicans and Buckhead Freedom Coalition Tea Party are hosting a candidate forum called "New Voices in Georgia Politics" at the Lindbergh City Center Taco Mac, 573 Main Street, on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 7-9 p.m. Speakers include Georgia 2nd Vice Chair and U.S. Marine Ron Johnson and Major Brad Carver. RSVP at gwilliams1975@yahoo.com or BuckheadFreedomCoalition@gmail.com.

• Cross Party Kickball: The Young Democrats of Atlanta will face off against the Young Republicans of Atlanta in a game of kickball at Central Park, 400 Merritts Ave NE, in Atlanta on Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. Both organizations will donate a matched portion to Nicholas House, a non-profit dedicated to transitioning families out of homelessness.
