Someone just asked why people don’t say "TGIMonday." I suppose many people trade sitting under the sun at the pool for sitting under a fluorescent bulb at a desk. For that reason, I understand why Fridays get all the hype. I personally appreciate Mondays. I like the freshness of them and the idea that a new week awaits and possibilities abound.
Mondays, however, don't offer an opportunity to stock the food carts that roam about Atlanta. I guess everyone needs a day off. Tomorrow, (Tuesday), they station themselves at Howell Mill Food Park from 6-10 p.m. (behind Willy's on Howell Mill Road).
Tamale Queen, King of Pops, Tex's Tacos, Westside Creamery, The Pup Truck, Hail Caesar, Yumbii, Sweet Auburn BBQ, Yum Yum Cupcake, and Munch typically make appearances. Fun way to support local vendors, hang with cool people, and eat delicious food! See ya there!
