“Share the Love,” a celebration of the beauty in everyone, will feature as models 20 men and women served by UCP. At 11 a.m., guests will enjoy mimosas and bid on silent auction items, including gift certificates to some of the city’s most popular restaurants, jewelry and art by local artists, tickets to area museums and attractions, and health and beauty services. The luncheon will begin at noon, followed by a performance by Atlanta a cappella group Sound Investment. Models will hit the runway at 1 p.m.

“Every year, the UCP community looks forward to showcasing men and women with disabilities at ‘Share the Love,’” said Diane Wilush, executive director of United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia. “It’s a wonderful reminder that these individuals – regardless of their challenges – want to be valued, accepted and appreciated. ‘Share the Love’ allows the people we serve to experience those feelings. It’s a joyous, inspiring event, and we hope that many in the Atlanta community will join the celebration.”

UCP’s services include personal support, residential services, adult day programs, after school and out of school programs for children, advocacy and more. UCP spends 89 cents of every dollar it receives on programs and services, making UCP one of the nation’s most cost-effective charities.
