The Diners' Choice Awards for the Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in America is generated from more than 5 million restaurant reviews collected from verified OpenTable diners between March 1, 2013, and February 28, 2014.

OpenTable announced today that Umi is a winner of OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards for the Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in America. The list of winners is derived from more than 5 million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 19,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

“We are very pleased by this acknowledgment from OpenTable diners,” said owner Farshid Arshid. “We are proud to know that these diners thoroughly enjoyed their overall experience at Umi. It is an honor to win alongside other wonderful restaurants in Atlanta and the rest of the country.”

The Diners’ Choice Awards for the Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in America is generated from more than 5 million restaurant reviews collected from verified OpenTable diners between March 1, 2013, and February 28, 2014. All restaurants with a minimum number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then sorted according to a score calculated from each restaurant’s average rating in the “hot spot” category along with a minimum “overall” rating.
