Buckhead Coalition Donates $9K of Guidebook Revenue to Buckhead Nonprofits

The Buckhead Coalition has donated $120,000 of its Buckhead Guidebook revenue to Buckhead area organizations over the last 19 years.

The Buckhead Coalition annually contributes a portion of its Buckhead Guidebook’s ad revenue to Buckhead area nonprofits, and this year it divided its $9,000 contribution between the AA Triangle Club, Atlanta Speech School and Hospice Buckhead.

"The general practice of organizations that publish directory-type guidebooks is to have them serve as “profit centers”, but the Coalition decided from its beginning that the purpose of its annual Guidebook would be to disseminate its information to market the Buckhead Community," according to a release from the Buckhead Coalition.

The Guidebook, now in its 19th year, is separated into three main sections: tourism, relocation, and development.
