Why go: Mix and mingle and enjoy the sounds of Latin, jazz, salsa and international rhythms as you network with other Hispanic/Latino professionals.

4.  BUY SOME JEWELRY THIS WEEKEND

Why go: Think ahead about Mother’s Day, or just pick up something nice for that someone special. All items made by either instructors or students at the Chastain Arts Center.

5.  ATTEND A BOOK SIGNING AND CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION

Why go: Andrea Wulf will be speaking about her new book, “Founding Gardeners, The Revolutionary Generation, Nature and the Shaping of the American Nation.” There is a book signing and champagne reception following the talk. All proceeds benefit the Garden Club of Georgia’s Historic Landscape and Garden Grant Fund.
