Randolph-Lucas House Moving Day a Success
Moving the historic house required utility lines to be temporarily moved, light poles to be taken down and traffic to be blocked as the two pieces made their slow way to One Museum Square.
The Randolph-Lucas house made its big move starting at 12:36 a.m. today, rolling down Peachtree Street in two pieces, according to the Buckhead Heritage Society's Facebook page.
By 9 a.m., the two pieces had arrived at One Museum Square. Next up will be the job to reassemble the house on a foundation already in place at 78 Peacthree Circle, the new location for the historic hoouse.
