Santa Boozefest; Last Peachtree Road Farmers Market and More This Weekend in Buckhead

There's an abundance of events going on this weekend in Buckhead.

Friday

Christmas with the Georgia Boy Choir

This Christmas concert will feature all five choirs of the Georgia Boy Choir along with a full orchestra. The concert will include favorite carols and holiday songs and will feature a performance of the Twelve Days of Christmas with the audience invited to join in the singing.

Children under six will not be admitted. On-site childcare will be available courtesy of Elegant Event Sitters for a fee of $12.00.

Children’s Tea with Santa/Holiday Afternoon Tea at St. Regis

Children can have tea with Santa daily until Christmas at the St. Regis Hotel for $38. Adults can also relax and enjoy a holiday afternoon of tea, petite sandwiches and holiday treats in the elegant Astor Court during this St. Regis Afternoon Tea holiday tradition. Santa Boozefest and 5K Reindeer  Run

If you're serious about celebrating in style this year, hit the holidays at full speed with this gift-wrapped Adventure: a ticket to the Santa Boozefest and 5K Reindeer fun run, complete with a huge party with food trucks, live music, and unlimited tastings of beer, wine, and liquor.

Since it's nice to be naughty, prizes will be given out for the best "Dirty Santa" and "Sexy Mrs. Clause" costumes, so be sure to dress in your most festive attire. In the spirit of the season, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Embraced Atlanta, a non-profit organization providing orthopedic equipment to needy individuals and families. Trust us: this is one Adventure that's sure to jingle your bells.

Peachtree Road Holiday Artist Market

It’s the last Peachtree Road Farmers Market of the year. In addition to the farmers market, artists will also participate in selling their creations which make amazing unique gifts, with choices from fine foods like artisanal jam and honey to crafts from local artists (handmade baskets, fabric art, glass, jewelry, wood creations, cutting boards, birdhouses, candles, blooming bulbs, pottery, wreaths and more). Just can't decide? PRFM has gift certificates too.

The Market moves indoors for another morning of holiday shopping.

Children’s Winter Drop-in Craft Time at Buckhead Library

Children (ages 5-12) are invited to drop by the library with parents and caregivers to make a Winter Holiday craft.

Sunday

Decorate Cookies with Santa at Southern Art

Chef Art Smith is pleased to welcome Santa Claus and some of his reindeer to Southern Art for a festive children’s holiday party, which begins at noon. Guests of all ages are invited to take pictures with Santa in his sleigh and treat their tastebuds to a delicious hot chocolate bar complete with a special version for adults. From 1 to 3 p.m., children are invited to participate in decorating their own house-made holiday cookies. .
