This Friday the SALSAtlanta party will be hosted in the main dinner room of Plaka. DJ Mane will be at the DJ booth playing the best Salsa, Son and Bachata.

The play, based on real life events at Waffle House restaurants is a rollercoaster of humor and imagination following John Pickett and his staff as they battle to keep their Midtown diner open against heavy odds.

Education Event at Blue Heron Nature Preserve: How Healthy is My Creek?
Have you ever wanted to know more about streams? Learn how to study streams at this two-part education event. We will begin at Blue Heron Nature Preserve, where we will collect water samples and insects from Nancy Creek. For the second part of our morning, we will drive to Oglethorpe University where we will have the opportunity to use laboratory equipment to study our samples.
When: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
