1) Tell us about your Buck.
My buck, American Buck, is an American flag wrapped around the bright smiling buck. Intentionally a symbol of our country's flag. I thought many people would fall in love with a bright patriotic Buck any day.
2) What inspired you to approach your Buck this way?
I wanted to inspire people. I wanted people to look at this buck and smile and feel good as well. Art is supposed to make people feel good.
3) In general, where do you find the inspiration for your art?
My inspiration comes from everything around me. I love drawing cartoon characters and this gave me an opportunity to be creative and create a buck of my own. The American Buck.
4) How did you become an artist?
I grew up watching a lot of cartoons as a kid, always wanting to create my own story and characters _ my brother and I _ and through middle school everyone saw the talent that I, at the time, thought everyone could do. I hope to bring my ideas to the rest of the world.
5) Is there anything else you'd like to share with Buckhead Patch readers?
The painting was a lot of work and I wanted to thank my team for helping make my design great.
