Boy Choirs to Join in Festival
Young singers invited to participate in event at Peachtree Road United Methodist sponsored by the Georgia Boy Choir

More than 250 young singers from across the United States are expected for the third annual Georgia Boy Choir Festival and Grand Finale Concert at in Buckhead Feb. 17 and 18.
And all boys from third through 12th grades are welcome to participate in the event, sponsored by Atlanta's Georgia Boy Choir. No musical experience is required, according to an announcement.

The festival will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. with a grand finale concert featuring all five levels of the Georgia Boy Choir, along with guest choirs the American Boychoir, the Florida Boychoir, the Palmetto State Boy Choir, the Newark Boys Chorus, the Greater Anderson, S.C., Metropolitan Arts Consortium Boychoir and the McCallie Men's Chorus. Tickets for the concert are $15.
The concert will feature each choir individually and will culminate with selections featuring the combined choirs and all festival participants conducted by artistic director and conductor, David R. White, associate conductor Scott Atchison, and musical director of the American Boychoir, Fernando Malvar-Ruiz.
