Chickasaw Mudd Puppies return

Reunited band, District Attorneys headline Buckhead Music Festival

The first annual Buckhead Music Festival Saturday at was an Atlanta family affair. Buckhead icon Charlie Loudermilk seemed proud of bringing his childhood movie house back to elegance and celebrating its first anniversary during the music festival across from the park named in his honor.

Rain curtailed the 1 p.m. start time for the outdoor stage, but the festival was able to catch up and everyone got to play, said venue managers.

The indoor stage was placed in the expanded lobby of the theater, opposite the bar. By evening, it was clear and cool. Just right for Georgians.
