Fadóktoberfest

Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant is hosting its sixth annual Fadóktoberfest street festival on Saturday, October 1.  Live music kicks off at 6 p.m. with the Astral Freaks and continues at 9:15 p.m. with the U2 cover band, Desire.  Attendees will have the chance to test their strength in a Strongman Stein Holding contest at 8 p.m., and for those who prefer to flex their stomach muscles, a bratwurst eating contest will also be held at 8 p.m.  Guests are encouraged to wear their best lederhosen and party the night away amongst Buckhead’s Bavarian beauties while the DJ keeps the party going until close.  Tickets are $10 through Spiral Entertainment or $15 at the door.  For more information and to view photos from last year’s Fadóktoberfest, visit www.fadoirishpub.com/atlanta/fadoktoberfest.
