History Day at North Buckhead Civic Association Fall Fling

As part of the North Buckhead Civic Assocation (NBCA) Fall Fling, Buckhead Heritage and the Blue Heron Nature Preserve are sponsoring a history day for the neighborhood.

Buckhead Heritage will be recording oral histories and scanning documents and photographs related to the neighborhood that may be used in future educational programming and publications. So, come ready to share your recollections and information about North Buckhead!

Buckhead Heritage, Blue Heron, and the NBCA are particularly interested in learning more about the Blue Heron Nature Preserve property, Barrett's Mill, Eidson's Mill, Peachtree Gardens, Turner's Corner, the Harrington Estate, Carmain Farm, Loridans Farm, the cemetery on Loridans Drive, and Wiley Moore.

Also, on view in the Blue Heron Art Gallery will be a variety of historical maps of the area.
