June 1, 6-9pm: 2012 Architects Studio Crawl and Happy Hour. Tour some of the city’s top design studios, meet practicing architects, be better informed about sustainable practices, and discuss contemporary architecture and design excellence. For a complete list of Studios, go to Design Crawl. Free.
June 8, 6:30pm: MA Design Exhibition & Home Tour Launch Event: Come celebrate Design Is Human week with MA and experience the elevated contemporary design and the 2012 Modern Atlanta Home Tour! Featuring Eames exhibition, MA Talks and Panel Discussions, Design is Material, Architect Models & Renderings, contemporary furniture, and manufacturer exhibits. Tickets can be purchased online, or at the event. ID may be requested for confirming ticket purchase at the door. Location: Terminus 2, 4th Floor, 3280 Peachtree Road NE Atlanta, GA 30305. Self parking is available in the parking deck. $10.00 for launch party only.
June 9 & 10: MA Home Tour. The MA Home Tour is in close partnership with AIA Atlanta. Ticket Price includes entry to MA Design Exhibition and Home Tour Launch Event on June 8, 6:30 pm. You may use your paper ticket to gain entry to the Design Exhibition and the MA Home Tour on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10. Wristbands are NOT required for entry to homes if you purchase online tickets. You can pick up your MA Guide at the MA Design Exhibition and Home Tour Launch Event on June 8, or at one of the MA ticket locations beginning June 1. Proof of ID required for confirming paper ticket purchase at the door and during home tour. $35.00 general admission. $25 student admission.
