RENOWNED IRISH PHOTOGRAPER DARAGH MULDOWNEY’S EXHIBIT, “JEWELLERY BOX – IRELAND’s HIDDEN GEMS,” VISITS ATLANTA  NOV. 8

“Jewellery Box – Ireland’s Hidden Gems,” renowned photographer  Daragh Muldowney’s fine art photographic study of rock pools, sand formations and shells throughout the 17 coast counties of Ireland,  will be on display in Atlanta on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6-9 pm, at Fitzgerald+CO, 3333 Piedmont Road, Suite 1100, in Buckhead.

“The 36 photographs selected for the Atlanta exhibition and the 65 images chosen for the newly published book entitled Jewellery Box – Ireland’s Hidden Gems  (special hardback edition) show the diverse beauty of the Irsh coast in a multitude of colours, textures and light,” Muldowney said.  “Each rock pool was like a jewellery box and each location offered many, yet varied gems.”

Muldowney traveled throughout Ireland in 2010 to compile these images. He used a 30-year-old camera, without filters or artificial light.
