UGA coaching legend Vince Dooley to speak Friday night
The Cathedral of St. Philip is conducting its 40th annual Cathedral Antiques Show through Sunday. All proceeds raised during the event, which began Thursday, will benefit H.E.R.O. for Children, a nonprofit organization that help children victimized by HIV and AIDS.
University of Georgia coaching legend Vince Dooley is a founding member of H.E.R.O. and will lecture on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral. The lecture will be followed by a reception, and $50 donations are accepted.
Dooley's wife, Barbara, will lecture on Saturday at 11 a.m. on "Renovating Our Home." Verbal appraisals will be offered Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
