Atlanta Tech Village Growing

Tech Village founder David Cummings says the technology startup center is "challenging the norm."

The growing Atlanta Tech Village in Buckhead has gone from 20 members to 300 in the six months its been up and running, according to a recent release about the technology startup center's progress. 

Its membership represents around 90 companies, the release states. An Atlanta Tech Village Youtube video is attached.

Atlanta Tech Village founder David Cummings said in the release: "Atlanta currently ranks 12th in the nation for number of technology startups and we aspire to be in the top five. At the Village we are challenging the norm and going outside the traditional mentality when it comes to fostering a strong and successful startup community. There are people and companies in our city that are doing remarkable things and our mission is to put Atlanta on the map to elevate the awareness of innovation emerging from our region.  A diversified economy, top ranking national universities and high access to equity make our city a prime environment for entrepreneurial success."
