Bottle Bar and Bistro Relocating, Property to Be Redevloped

The popular Buckhead destination plans to take up shop in the building formerly occupied by Ludacris' restaurant Straits.

A Buckhead-based real estate company has plans to create a mixed-use office building on the site of Buckhead Bottle Bar and Bistro once that company relocates to Midtown.

According to The Atlanta Business Chronicle, Buckhead Bottle Bar and Bistro has filed for an alcohol license at the former site of Straits, the restaurant partially owned by Ludacris which closed in 2012.

The move was prompted by the $3 million purchase of the property on East Paces Ferry Road by The Loudermilk Companies in August, 2013. The Loudermilk Companies plans to redevelop the site into "3111 Peachtree Atlanta," containing office and retail space.

Curbed Atlanta reports that Bottle Bar and Bistro's neighbor in Buckhead, Al's Café Agora, was also forced to relocate due to the pending development. Al's found a new site in the Buckhead Village.
