CFO of Payscape Advisors to Speak to BBA

Adam Bloomston will speak to the Buckhead Business Association at their weekly breakfast on June 14.

(BBA) is pleased to announce that Adam Bloomston, CFO of Payscape Advisors will speak at the Buckhead Business Association Weekly Breakfast on June 14, 2012 at the City Club of Buckhead.

“Adam Bloomston comes to us with the true entrepreneurial spirit, having launched multiple successful businesses throughout his career,” notes Catherine Cattles, 2012 President of the BBA.  “In Adam’s current capacity as CFO of Payscape Advisors, we look forward to hearing from him about his perspective on how to maintain profitability and orchestrate fiscal strategies that allow for long term growth as an entrepreneur.

Adam Bloomston grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor in Communications. A serial entrepreneur since high school, Bloomston did not “cut his teeth” until his first post college job at International Childrenswear, a clothing manufacturing company. While there he learned about international sourcing, importing and distribution, Just In Time inventory management solutions, strategy and finance. Bloomston parlayed the opportunity into a “corporate” job with Duckhead Apparel, and became the youngest Regional Sales Manager in the country for the nationwide brand. After a short stint in the corporate world, Bloomston started his own business in the transportation industry, called The Boundless Bus.

Boundless became a household name in the luxury bus space with over 20 vehicles, generating over $1m per year in revenue. During the same time Bloomston acquired and built The Peachtree Social Club, an interactive social group, which hosted multiple large-scale events each year. He grew Peachtree Social Club to over 14,000 members with corporate sponsors such as Budweiser and Mercedes. In late 2005 Bloomston sold both companies, in order to form Payscape Advisors with his two business partners.

Payscape had humble beginnings, with the first office operating out of a co-founder’s basement along with an initial investment of $500 per partner. The three partners focused on helping business owners better understand their merchant card processing strategies, while providing better service, competitive pricing, and a wider scope of products. Over time they learned how to scale their model, hire the right people, build new offices and increase their product suite while maintaining the original mission of helping business owners “one at a time”.
