Coke VP to Speak at BBA Meeting

Susanne Geldart will speak at the Buckhead Business Association Weekly Breakfast on May 24.

The Buckhead Business Association (BBA) is pleased to announce that Susanne Geldart, Senior Vice President for Coca-Cola Refreshments Southeast Region Sales, will speak at the Buckhead Business Association Weekly Breakfast on May 24, at the City Club of Buckhead. 

May 24 will also feature a BBA Speed Networking Session prior to the speaker’s presentation; Speed Networking takes place during the first 15 minutes of the BBA Weekly Breakfast on the fourth Thursday of each month.

“Susanne Geldart comes to use with a wealth of experience within the Coca-Cola system,” notes Catherine Cattles, 2012 President of the BBA.  “We are excited to hear from Geldart about her perspective on sales growth potential in the Atlanta region and beyond.

As the Senior Vice President for Coca-Cola Refreshments Southeast Region Sales, Geldart is responsible for leading the sales business in eight states, including Coca-Cola’s hometown of Atlanta, along with Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Southeast Region employs more than 7,000 associates and operates 50 distribution centers and 14 production facilities. The region, including its independent bottlers, is responsible for an annual volume of 450 million cases and $2.5 billion in revenue.

Geldart previously served as Vice President, Sales Operations at Coca-Cola Refreshments, where she led the northern operating area of the Southeast Region, including the Atlanta, Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee markets.

During her 15-year career in the Coca-Cola system, Geldart held a number of roles across finance, sales, and category management. With Coca-Cola Enterprises, she served as the Market Unit Vice President for the Tennessee and Alabama markets and as the Vice President, Supermarkets for the East Business Unit.

Her food and beverage industry experience also includes finance and accounting positions at Avery Island, La.-based McIlhenny Company (TABASCO®).

A graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, Geldart became a Certified Public Accountant in 1991 (currently non-participating). She serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Food Industry Association and the Alabama Bottlers Council. In addition, Geldart is a member of the Network of Executive Women (NEW) and the Women’s Linc Organization at Coca-Cola.  She lives in Atlanta with her daughter, Caroline.
