Frank Ski's Restaurant to Open Next Week

Radio personality's business to launch at Peachtree Road, Bennett Street

Radio personality Frank Ski will open his new restaurant Monday at Peachtree Road and Bennett Street, according to Tony Wilbert of Wilbert News Strategies.

The 8,000-square-foot restaurant and lounge at 2110 Peachtree Road will seek to be a hit at a location where several businesses have struggled since Mick's 20-year run there. The Thirsty Dog Tavern closed at the space earlier this year, and before that, the Italian restaurant Vita.

This week, restaurant general manager James Johnson oversaw training of new employees and said the 300-seat restaurant nearly is ready to go, Wilbert reported in his Skyline Views blog.

Steve Josovitz of the Shumacher Group brokered the deal, Wilbert reported.
