Join Lego Lovers to try to Set a World Record

People will come together at Legoland locations around the world to try to set a record on Nov. 15.

 

Love Legos? Do you dream of being a Guinness World Record holder?

Then here’s your chance to join other Lego fans in trying to set a record for the “largest toy construction lesson” in the world.

On Nov. 15, participants at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Phipps Plaza and other locations around the world will come together to build a red and green Christmas Train out of Legos.

Fans across the globe weighed in to select the design.

The event will be held at the eight LEGOLAND Discovery Centers worldwide: Atlanta, Berlin, Chicago, Dallas, Duisberg, Kansas City, Manchester, Oberhausen and Tokyo.

The Master Model Builders at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centers hold over 40,768 LEGO building classes across the world each year, teaching over 1,019,200 children how to build using about 40, 768,000 LEGO bricks. This time they will all be holding one lesson simultaneously across the globe at the same time.
