Major Residential Project Set to Replace Georgian Hills

Atlantic Realty, Inc. will redevelop the Georgian Hills apartment buildings into a new 466,000-square-foot residential project.

A 288-unit apartment project in west Buckhead is set to replace an existing complex on Collier Road.

According to a report by Buckhead View, Atlantic Realty Partners, Inc. has filed plans with the City of Atlanta for the project, which is set to replace the at 1185 Collier Road.

Located on 18 acres between Defoors Ferry and Howell Mill roads on Collier Road, the site has been owned by Coro Realty Advisors since the late 1990s. Patti Pearlberg, vice president for asset management at Coro, confirmed with Buckhead View that Coro had the property under contract with Atlantic Realty Partners.

According to the plans on file, Atlantic will redevelop the aging Georgian Hills buildings into a new 466,000-square-foot residential project. The first phase would include multi-level apartments in a building with up to five stories and likely feature 51 single-family residences.

Georgian Hills Apartments currently offers colonial architecture surrounded by mature wooded landscaping. One-, two- and three-bedroom units are available in several floor plans.
