Modern Restaurant Closed — Still
Despite owner's claim closure is temporary, recent actions suggest deeper problems for the Buckhead restaurant.
When Modern Restaurant and Bar closed earlier this month, the Buckhead eatery said it was to make some changes, namely a revamp of its menu.
The message that greets callers to the restaurant's telephone number, says Modern plans to reopen following a change-up to its offerings.
But at Tomorrow's News Today notes, the restaurant's promises of reopening soon don't seem to mesh with recent actions.

The restaurant has delayed its reopening three times and lost its executive chef, Mark Alba, as well as its general manager, TNT reported.
It also parted ways with its public relations firm.

"So, in conclusion, Modern Restaurant + Bar is without a General Manager, Executive Chef and P.R. Firm but may (or may not) reopen, at some point," TNT wrote in its report.
