Buckhead is getting another burger-and-shake joint. The Shake Shack, based in New York, will open a location in Buckhead in mid-2014, according to an announcement from the company.
The roadside-style burger eatery, known for its craft beer and wine as well as its burgers, hot dogs and shakes, will open at 3035 Peachtree Road. About 70 workers will be employed at the new location.
Orangetheory Fitness, a new group interval fitness concept, plans to open a new fitness studio in mid-September at the Howell Mill Village Shopping Center on Collier Road. In total, four locations are planned to open in the Atlanta-area by the end of the year and more than 35 in the metro area in the next three years.
