Truffles Grill Closes Its Doors, Caribou Coffee May Be Next

Truffles Grill, a restaurant owned by Ruby Tuesday Inc., has closed its Lenox Road location. The restaurant opened in a former Ruby Tuesday at 3345 Lenox Road in 2012.

A Ruby Tuesday spokeswoman said the company decided on Sunday to close the Atlanta and Winter Park, Fla. locations to focus on its core brand, Ruby Tuesday, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle.

All employees affected by the closures will be offered positions at nearby Ruby Tuesday locations.

"We would like to thank all the guests who created memories at Truffles and embraced us as a part of their community,” stated Ruby Tuesday spokeswoman Meridith Hammond in the ABC report.

Caribou Coffee announced that it is closing 80 locations next week and plans to convert 88 others to Peet's Coffee & Tea shops. The closures and conversions are expected to affect locations in Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, eastern Wisconsin and Washington.

Buckhead Patch has reached out to Caribou Coffee's media relations team for details about how Buckhead locations may be affected, but has not yet received a response.

Bridge Boutique, which already has an outlet in Virginia-Highland, plans to open a second store in Buckhead.

The store expects to open sometime in May, taking a spot near Peachtree and Roswell roads.
