Bank’s mortgage division celebrates Third Anniversary

Private Mortgage Services, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, celebrates its Third Anniversary this month. The dedicated mortgage solutions unit takes a hybrid approach – combining a mortgage broker’s access to mortgage products with the bank’s strong proprietary mortgage menu.

Private Bank of Buckhead, which launched in December 2006, added the mortgage unit in October 2010. Alexander, who led the formation of Private Mortgage Services, is the former president of the Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers and was previously named that organization’s Broker of the Year. He and Private Mortgage Services’ Carol Lynn Upshaw are consistently among the Association’s “Top Guns.”

Private Mortgage Services offers a full range of mortgage products: purchase, refinance, investment, second home, multiple collateral, fixed second, debt consolidation, home equity, raw land, and lot loan. Private Bank of Buckhead is one of the few banks in Atlanta consistently offering construction loans.

Private Bank of Buckhead also has a strong SBA lending department that is designated a Preferred Lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Last year it rolled out a Decatur office, known as Private Bank of Decatur, which celebrates its First Anniversary this month.
